When a man worth $85 billion speaks about success, it is in one’s best interest to listen. That’s like Stephen Hawking talking about physics or Ray Lewis talking about murdering someone and getting away with it. Bill Gates dropped out of college his sophomore year to start what would become Microsoft, the world’s largest PC company. The dude is currently the richest man in the world and has claimed that title for a combined two decades.

Gates now sinks most of his time into philanthropic endeavors via the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, a private foundation that is said to be the largest transparently operated private foundation in the world. The foundation’s mission is primarily to enhance healthcare and reduce extreme poverty, and in America, to expand educational opportunities and access to information technology. It has an estimated endowment of $50 billion.

Bottom line is, Bill Gates and success go together like spaghetti and meatball. Or lamb and tuna fish. He recently took to Twitter to give new graduates insight into which fields are on the up-and-up and how they can make the most impact. Check out what Billy had to say below.

(Sidenote: As of Monday afternoon, this book has risen in Amazon’s sales rankings by more than 6,000 percent in the previous 24 hours.)

Thanks for the reminder that I’ve made so many mistakes, Bill. Enjoy your great life, dude.
